Freedom of religion or belief in Islam:
A way forward?

Many Muslim states are rethinking their approach to fundamental rights and, among them, to freedom of religion of belief. One recent example is given by the Kingdom of Bahrain declaration that, following the previous Marrakech declaration, contains important developments in this field. The aim of this workshop is to investigate these recent developments in order to assess their relevance on the international stage.
