Chapter XXIV
Offences against Freedom of Conscience and Religion
Article 194.
Whoever restricts another person from exercising the rights vested in the latter, for the reason of this person affiliation to a certain faith or their religious indifference
shall be subject to a fine, the penalty of restriction of liberty or the penalty of
deprivation of liberty for up to 2 years.
Article 195.
§ 1. Whoever maliciously interferes with a the public performance of a religious ceremony of a church or another religious association with regulated legal status shall be subject to a fine, the penalty of restriction of liberty or the penalty of deprivation of liberty for up to 2 years.
§ 2. The same punishment shall be imposed on anyone who maliciously interferes with a funeral, mourning ceremonies or rites.
Article 196.
Whoever offends the religious feelings of other persons by outraging in public an object of religious worship or a place dedicated to the public celebration of religious rites,
shall be subject to a fine, the penalty of restriction of liberty or the penalty of
deprivation of liberty for up to 2 years.
